Virgin Packaging Board
SBS (Solid Bleached Sulfate)
Solid Bleached Sulphate or SBS is a single-ply paperboard product made with virgin pulp that is bleached with sulfate. Softwoods are used to make SBS because the fibres are relatively long, making the board strong and stiff. It is often used to make high-end boxes, like cosmetics and pharmaceutical packaging. It follows USFDA guidelines. In stock are the following brands:

This board is used when a barrier is required, such as against grease, oil, liquids, humidity, etc. The poly also helps to preserve the printed surface of the box. It is commonly used in making packaging for chocolates, soaps, frozen foods, etc, where the product might be in direct contact with the board. It follows USFDA guidelines. We keep in stock:
SBS poly ½ mil from International Paper
